Bob Robertson
Managing Director

Bob has been involved in international trading and marketing for over 25 years, establishing and running businesses in many parts of the world. These were eventually sold to develop TV Media Holdings Limited in 1993, which by 1997 had full trading operations in 12 major countries in Asia, UK, USA, Russia and South Africa. The Company was the largest owner of TV advertising time in most operating countries and traded worldwide. By 1997 TV Media had yearly revenues of $145 million and 900 staff. It had its own TV commercial production houses in the USA, Singapore (H.Q), and the Philippines, owned two 24-hour satellite channels and contracted thousands of hours per week of TV advertising time worldwide.

It also owned and operated over 400 retail outlets and 10 telemarketing centres in its 12 operating countries. TV Media was merged with Pacific Media of the UK in 1999 and listed on the London Stock Exchange main board. At this point, along with his wife Jen, Bob founded Infinity Investment Group in Wanaka, NZ to take advantage of the regions opportunities in property development and investment.

Infinity Investment Group is one of New Zealand's most innovative property development companies. It delivers projects of excellence that are socially responsible and are characterised by innovation, quality and commercial success.

Currently Infinity is involved in developments with an end build-out value of approximately $1.6 billion involving residential subdivisions, master-planned towns, hotels, apartments, offices and transportation infrastructure.

Bob also owns three farms under the trading name of Foveran Deer Park, a well known deer farming entity and stud breeder, and New Zealand Trophy Hunting Limited, an internationally recognised safari park operator and outfitter.

Bob won the Ernst & Young Master Entrepreneur Award in 2007 and he is also a member of the New Zealand Business Roundtable.


Jen Robertson
Executive Director

Originally in the diplomatic service for the Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs,  Jen was instrumental in the development of Safara, a fully integrated and successful retail company with its head office in Singapore. Franchises were also operating in England and several Asian countries such as Malaysia, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Taiwan. With manufacturing arrangements in the Far East, Jen's proficiency in the local languages was a great asset as was her strong artistic aptitude which positively influenced the designs and directions in brands and logos throughout the varied consumer lines.

Jen has a B.A. from the University of Singapore majoring in political science. Her strong interpersonal and public relations skills developed from her days in the Foreign Ministry is a big advantage in international liaisons, trading and translations. She assisted in the development of Foveran and New Zealand Trophy Hunting Ltd. As co-founder and director of TV Media, Jen’s experience in office organisation, design and marketing is of considerable benefit to the Infinity Group.


John Beattie
Executive Director

John specialises in development and infrastructure projects for Infinity with a high resource management component. John is a former Executive Chairman of the Hanmer Institute Ltd, General Manager of Brierley Investments Ltd (BIL) and a co-founder of Genesis Research & Development Ltd a listed biotech company. Prior to his employment with BIL he was a partner in national law firm Kensington Swan.

John has been a Trustee of the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) since 1988. He has a particular interest in mainland and island ecological restoration strategies, an area in which NZ is a world leader and Infinity is an active supporter. He is also a Trustee of the Malaghan Institute of Medical Research and the Life Education Trust, as well as being Chairman of the NZ Diabetes Foundation, the Mount Aspiring College Foundation, the Southern Lakes Arts Festival Trust (Festival of Colour), the NZ Sports Hall of Fame, and Sustainable Wanaka.


John Hogg
Chief Financial Officer & Executive Director

John Hogg leads the finance team that is responsible for all of the financial management at Infinity and in particular John is responsible for forecasting, managing cash and ensuring the company is well funded. John has had considerable experience in corporate finance in his previous roles as CFO of an international software company (with a turnover of over NZ$250 million) that he was instrumental in getting listed and as part of a small team managing the loan book of the former NZI Bank together with the management of a property portfolio worth in excess of $150 million.


Marc Bretherton
General Manager & Executive Director

Marc joined Infinity following a number of year’s resource management and planning experience in both local government and private practice. He successfully led the resource management team for Pegasus Town for Infinity, and has experience managing a number of high profile commercial and residential development projects throughout the South Island. Marc has management consultancy experience in the United Kingdom and Ireland. He has an Honours degree in Commerce and a Masters degree in Regional and Resource Planning, and is a full member of the New Zealand Planning Institute, the Resource Management Law Association and the Urban Land Institute.


Dale Smith
General Manager of Sales and Marketing

Dale has a wide range of expertise and to date his career has included roles in the areas of sales and marketing, property development and investment. Dale was employed with Winslow Properties as Development Manager and has real estate experience with both Harcourts and Harverys Real Estate companies. With a Dip. Bus. Studies (Real Estate) and a BSc in Psychology Dale brings knowledge and diversity to the Infinity Sales and Marketing team.


Hetty Van Hale
Communications Manager

Hetty has extensive experience in corporate communications, marketing, and event management. Her previous roles included Information Manager at Brierley Investments, Communications Manager for Carter Holt Harvey, Marketing Manager at Treble Cone Ski Area and Communications Manager for Queen Mary Hospital and the Hanmer Clinics. She has a BA in Linguistics from Victoria University and a post-graduate Diploma of Information Science from Riverina Institute, NSW, Australia.

Hetty is currently on the Board of Wanaka Wastebusters, a community recycling initiative, and has been a past board member of Mt Aspiring College Foundation and Lake Wanaka Tourism.


Gary Grant
Executive Business Analyst

Gary has a unique role within Infinity. As Executive Business Analyst working alongside Bob Robertson he has the opportunity to bring his mixed professional services and sales/marketing experience to bear. Gary has a LLB/BCom from Otago University and was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor to the High Court of New Zealand in 1997. His career began at a major accounting firm and then he moved to a niche IT Investment Bank where he was involved in establishing one of New Zealand's first Venture Capital funds. Keen to broaden his experience, Gary moved into sales and marketing roles to develop a new set of skills. He has spent the last 5 years overseas, two in London and three in Sydney.


Colin Moorfoot
Construction Manager

Colin manages the construction of all of Infinity’s projects. He is responsible for costing, contractors and organising staff. Colin is also involved in the ongoing maintenance of Infinity’s developments.

Qualified carpenter and builder Colin has been in the construction industry 40 years. He has vast experience in all types of construction (commercial & housing). He operated his own company in Queenstown for 14 years, for 3 years worked with Fletcher Building overseas division, was Project Manager for the Skyline Gondolas Restaurant rebuild and prior to coming to Infinity was Construction Manager for Millbrook Resort (projects included residential units & large scale houses, amenities buildings, swimming pool & landscape type projects).


Richard Sheldon
Field Manager

Richard oversees the landscaping and supply of trees and shrubs for all Infinity projects. He is also responsible for general maintenance in particular the pools, grounds and water features of Infinity’s developments and Body Corporates. To date, Richard has planted and landscaped Sunrise Bay, Far Horizon Park (which included the development of a golf chip & putt course), Lakeside Apartments, Riverside Stages 1, 2 & 3, and Hillend and Foveran (tree planting only). Richard is also involved in the construction of Infinity’s developments.

Prior to joining Infinity, Richard was involved with manufacturing and sales, owned a garden centre in Christchurch for 14 years and operated a landscape design and maintenance business. His experience in landscape design and garden centre management is of considerable benefit to Infinity.


INFINITY REAL ESTATE

Phillip Templeton
Real Estate Principal

Phillip is a registered valuer, a licensed real estate agent and a member of the New Zealand Property Institute. His job roles include District Valuer, Quotable Value NZ, Manager Strategic Property, National Bank and National Property Manager, Royal & Sun Alliance.

Over the years he has gained an extensive knowledge of property throughout New Zealand and has an intimate understanding of the market forces that affect the dynamics of real estate. He also has very substantial practical experience in the marketing and sales of commercial real estate, commercial property management, commercial/industrial purchases and commercial office and retail leasing. Phillip also has a very sound appreciation of the market mechanics of property development, property investment, property marketing criteria and the sale/purchase documentation process in respect of commercial property including sale lease backs.


Patrick Waser
Sales Manager

Patrick originated from Sweden and has lived and worked in several countries and can therefore speak several languages fluently. He has a strong hospitality background in both sales and marketing and operations. Patrick has also had many years experience in commercial business brokering in the North Island and has owned and operated large hospitality projects which have involved major construction and renovations.
